Childcare Apprenticeship Training Academy - CATA

Determined young people with a passion for childcare can make the best additions to your workforce. They bring fresh ideas, energy and enthusiasm but often don’t have the necessary skills and experience to enable you to employ them.

JHP Training introduces…CATA – an elite training academy to provide skilled and dedicated staff for your business.

Unlike traditional Apprenticeship programmes, CATA provides intensive pre-placement training to ensure that our apprentices meet the requirements of your business.

You can choose from two ways of working with CATA:

1. Employ apprentice directly – your new member of staff will be fully supported throughout the training period and will quality within six months.

2. Act a ‘host employer’ and offer ‘subsidised employment placements’ for up to six months – we will manage all the HR requirements for employment minimising the administration responsibility for your business.

JHP Training is one of the largest providers of vocational qualifications in the UK with over 27 years experience and proven delivery results in the childcare sector.
Our apprentices undergo a rigorous selection process and we will pre-screen candidates to meet your requirements.
All apprentices will have completed an intensive four week childcare relevant training programme prior to joining your setting.
The apprentice will work hours to suit your business (minimum of 16 hours per week).
The Apprenticeship is fully funded so there are no training costs for you or your business.
Training and development can also be provided for your existing staff to ensure that your entire workforce remains highly skilled.
