ProgrammesJHP Training recognises that it is essential for training providers to appreciate and fully understand the individual needs of each business with which they work. We specialise in delivering training tailored to the needs of your business to ensure that you receive the most effective and focused employee development possible.

We firmly believe that personalising learning and integrating it into the individual’s job role is the ideal way to balance exceptional training with the pressures of the modern workplace. The provision of vocational training is at the heart of everything that JHP Training does and the majority of the services we deliver are centred around National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).

NVQs are available as a stand-alone qualification or as an element of the Apprenticeship framework.

NVQ

Stand-alone NVQs are available for employees of all ages, but are recommended for those over the age of 25, whom it is expected will have prior experience in the workplace. They are competency- based awards which reflect the core skills, knowledge and understanding that underpin a job role. Support can also be given with Basic Skills, such as literacy and numeracy, to those who require it.

Apprenticeship

Initially designed with employees aged between 16 and 25 in mind, Apprenticeships are now available to employees of all ages (due to the introduction of Adult Apprenticeships). The aim of an Apprenticeship is to develop job abilities whilst providing relevant theory and key skills and the Apprenticeship frame work is made up of three elements:

  1. NVQ

    In relevant vocational subject.

  2. Technical Certificate

    Develops employee's skills and knowledge in the technical aspects of their job role.

  3. Key Skills

    Cover a wide range of transferable skills which are used everyday in the workplace and enable employees to become more flexible and productive.
