Success in Leeds as JHP gains its first eNVQ
Claire Williamson, an employee at UKI, has become the first successful completer of an eNVQ with JHP Training. Breaking with all previous vocational learning methods, Claire was able to take advantage of eNVQ’s ground-breaking system and complete her Apprenticeship in Administration online.
Bringing a breath of fresh air to the achievement of vocational qualifications, eNVQ has grown from strength to strength in JHP Training since UKI was chosen to pilot the scheme last year. eNVQ has now become a major feature for staff progression within UKI, as more and more staff take to their computers and create a portfolio of training over the internet.
The rapid success of eNVQ is not without good reason. Learners at UKI have been commending a system which saves time, increases motivation and encourages creativity, as candidates upload submissions and witness testimonies across a wide range of multimedia. And Managers are finding eNVQ has valuable advantages too. Email contact between learner, supervisor and assessor is making for greater efficiency and productivity in the workplace, providing effective training without the need for purchasing expensive software. Train to Gain
JHP Training is an Equal Opportunities employer and, in addition to our programmes for 16-19 year olds, we also offer free qualifications under a new Employer Training Pilot in West Yorkshire. ‘Train to Gain’ is available to employees aged 19-65 with 5 GCSEs or fewer, aims to increase their effectiveness in the workplace by gaining an NVQ Level 2 in a variety of employment areas, and is completely free of charge.
