Entry to Employment (e2e)

e2e is available to you if you would like to do an Apprenticeship or find employment but feel you could benefit from additional support and guidance before making choices about your future career. It is designed to help you develop your motivation and confidence, personal effectiveness and key skills, and to provide you with a range of opportunities to gain vocational knowledge, skills and understanding.

The e2e programme develops the skills you need to progress into work, an Apprenticeship or Further Education. If you meet the following criteria, then e2e can help you:

  • You have left school but are not yet 19*
  • Your are not at school or college
  • You are not in training or a job
  • *If you are aged 19-24 then you may still be able to take part in the e2e programme depending on your circumstances.

e2e programmes focus on your individual needs and are tailored to suit you. However, they will usually include working towards the skills you need in a workplace, such as reading, writing and number work if needed; and developing key skills such as finding and applying for jobs and working as part of a team.

The e2e programme gives you the chance to meet new people, make new friends and make the most of the experiences available, some of the activities you may be involved in include:

  • IT Skills
  • First Aid
  • Health and Safety
  • Team building
  • Communication skills
  • Presentation skills
