Response to Redundancy Programme

Response to Redundancy is a package of support available if you have recently been made redundant, are under notice of redundancy or are unemployed but able to find employment with specific support.

The programme offers expert advice and action planning to give you the best chance to securing alternative employment in a highly competitive job market.

What's Involved?

The programme is driven by your needs and the employment opportunities available within the local area.

  • You will meet with a JHP Employability and Skills Advisor who will advise on your individual circumstances and discuss how the programme can work to meet your needs.
  • The package of support will typically last two weeks full-time or eight weeks part-time and will include an appropriate combination of the following:
    • Development of an Individual Learning Plan.
    • Training to develop your job search skills including support with job applications, CV writing and essential skills.
    • Training to update your existing skills in a specific employment sector.
    • Pre-employment training to develop the skills needed to enter a different occupation or employment sector.
Regular one-to-one progress reviews to support you through the programme.

Why Choose the Response to Redundancy Programme?

  • We have excellent contact with employers with a network of over 25,000 employers giving you access to a comprehensive database of employment opportunities.
  • Once you re-enter employment, the Skills Division of JHP Group is able to support you to continue developing your skills and gain vocational qualifications. This ensures that you will progress as far as possible in your new career and reduces your risk of facing redundancy again.
